Review of
last week
Last week was a very short week due to the fact that we only
went to school for only three out of five days in the week. The reason last
week went quick was because on Thursday my teacher was not in because she was
ill and on Friday my teachers were not in because they went on a teachers
training course.
This teacher being absent due to training had its advantages
and disadvantages. The advantage is that when the teachers go on training they
find out better way of teaching us. They find out different ways to make us
understand the units. Disadvantage of this training is that students miss out
on lesson and the teacher would have to postpone what they were going to teach
that week to the next week. I used these two days to an advantage because I
spent it working on assignments that were due soon. This means that I complete
my work earlier than scheduled.
Development
I believe that in order for me to progress I need to continue
updating my blog. This is very beneficial for me and has really helped me
during my time at college. Having my blog allows me to refer back to the work
that I have been assigned during the week. This is really important for me
because I need to keep updated with all the work we have been given to ensure
that I don’t miss any deadlines or assignments. Another benefit of the blog is
that it allows me to reflect and look over the things that went well and also
went bad during the last week. It is important for me to be able to look at the
things that went well for me as I will take note of these things and use them
to remind myself of the things I have accomplished and went well.
My interpersonal skill and written communication skill is
something that I need to keep developing on in order for me to be an effective
communicator. These skills are going to be needed throughout my life. I am
going to need when I get into a working environment and sometimes my
communicating skills can be the decider if I get a job or not because if I am
an effective communicator I will be able to sell myself in a persuasive way.
